Over 2 billion users online

According to a report from the International Telecommunications Union, one third of the world’s population will be online by the end of this year. The report suggests that 71% of people in western countries will be online by the end of 2010.

So lets just think about that in terms of the UK. The UK has roughly 61 million residents so about 70% of that would be roughly 42 million give or take a few hundred thousand. In this country alone theres a market place with 42 million users. Thats a huge market place to tap into and all you need is a website, some good web design and a bit of search engine optimisation and you have the potential to access this market place.

With figures like this it’s crazy not to have an online presence, but, if you do you have to make sure you stand out in the crowd with good web design, well written content and a website that targets your user base perfectly.
