Web design in Margate

Your website should give people a clear reason to choose your business, whether they arrive looking for your work, your services or a way to buy. I provide website design for businesses in Margate, working from my base in Herne Bay.

I’m Paul, the designer and developer behind kube creative. We can work remotely or discuss a local meeting, with direct contact throughout the project.

Show your work without making visitors search for the details

For a business whose work is visual, the challenge is often balancing presentation with practical information. Photography or a portfolio can make a strong first impression, but a visitor still needs to understand what is available and how to enquire.

For example, a maker might need product categories and commission information; a creative studio might need case studies that explain its role in each project. A different business may need a straightforward service list and booking route. We decide the structure from your offer, rather than assume every Margate website needs the same look.

A considered design, backed by a manageable website

I work through layout, typography, imagery and content hierarchy before development. You can review the direction and how the important pages fit together, with attention to the experience on a phone as well as a desktop.

WordPress lets you manage the content areas agreed for the project. If you need an online shop, we plan the WooCommerce catalogue, checkout and fulfilment requirements as part of the brief. Read about the website design and build service for the full commissioning process.

Redesigning a site while keeping what is useful

A website can outgrow its original brief. Before replacing it, we review the material that still serves your business, the URLs people use and any features that need to carry across. The proposed work should explain what is changing and why.

Useful page headings, descriptive links and clear service information form part of that work. A redesign is not a guarantee of better Google rankings, and continued content or SEO work may be appropriate after launch.

Look at relevant design experience

The Fujitsu case study covers work within an established brand, while Green Edge shows a new agency website design direction. Browse the project portfolio to see the brief and status of each project. The case studies explain the work and the thinking behind it.

“Paul at kube creative has looked after our website for a number of years. With zero technological knowledge we feel safe in the expert hands of the Kube team and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone.”

Agree the scope before committing to a build

Page count, content preparation, features and integrations all affect the quote and schedule. We discuss those requirements first and agree how feedback and any later changes will be handled. The website pricing guide provides a useful starting point.

After handover, WordPress maintenance can be arranged separately. If your business serves more than Margate, we can also plan how to explain that coverage clearly; see the Kent website design overview for where I work.
